Iskanderkul Lake, nestled in the Fann Mountains of Tajikistan, is a stunning alpine lake renowned for its turquoise waters and breathtaking scenery. Transportation
Iskanderkul Lake is accessible by car or taxi from Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. The road to the lake is paved for most of the way, but the last few kilometers can be rough. Shared taxis and private cars are available from Dushanbe's main taxi stand. Alternatively, you can hire a driver for a day trip or longer. From Dushanbe, take the M34 highway towards Ayni. After Ayni, follow the signs to Iskanderkul Lake. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours.
